English to me is very important because English is the most widely spoken language in the world.In some countries English is a native language, but in most countries. English is not an official language , but is adopted as a second language and taught in schools. For instance, in our own country Malaysia, English itself is our second language coming after our mother tongue.
English is the dominant international language in business, entertainment , education , career and also on the internet. We cannot deny that English is a need and necessity in our lives nowadays. English is used to communicate and study.We are living in the world of globalization,we need to know English language in order to study any science subject or any art subject.English is easy for everyone to understand during communication or studies.It is also considered as universal language.
English is that it will give you the ability to travel and feel confident speaking. Many airports, banks, and hotels have English speaking staff and use English signs to guide you. It is to your advantage to have a basic understanding of how to communicate in English if you are travelling anywhere in the world.Moreover, benefit of learning English as soon as you know you want to attend school in the US is that you will have the speaking, listening and reading skills needed to gain entry into a college or school. You may be eligible for scholarships from organization and the US government if you speak and understand English.
Benefit of learning English is people who are able to speak more than one language have international business opportunities as well as they can work with the general public in hospitals and companies. Getting a great job will be so much easier if you can speak English. You will move to the top of the competition because many corporation want to hire those with dual language ability.Another benefit of learning English is that you will meet many new people. Not only can you join the world on social networking sites, you can also enjoy the many entertainment and news options like movies and computer programs. Find another person who is learning English for practice or if you have a language that others want to learn, trade your native language lessons for English lessons.
English will open doors for you if you are willing to make an effort. From entertainment to scholarly research to getting a top notch job, learning English will significantly improve your life if you are a business person, student or family member about to travel to the US.

Comparative Of Two Famous Person
Two of the famous person that I want to introduce are Thomas Edison and Steve Jobs.
First of all,I would like to talk about Mr.Thomas Edison.Thomas Alva Edison(February 11, 1847 – October 18, 1931) was an American inventor and businessman.He developed many devices that greatly influenced life around the world, including the phonograph, the motion picture camera, and a long-lasting, practical electric light bulb. Dubbed "The Wizard of Menlo Park, he was one of the first inventors to apply the principles of mass production and large-scale teamwork to the process of invention, and because of that, he is often credited with the creation of the first industrial research laboratory. Edison is the fourth most prolific inventor in history, holding 1,093 US patents in his name, as well as many patents in the United Kingdom, France, and Germany.His advanced work in these fields was an outgrowth of his early career as a telegraph operator. Edison developed a system of electric-power generation and distribution to homes, businesses, and factories – a crucial development in the modern industrialized world. His first power station was on Pearl Street in Manhattan, New York.
Another popular person is Steve Jobs.Steven Paul ''Steve'' Jobs (February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011) was an American entrepreneur and inventor,best known as the co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple Inc. Through Apple, he was widely recognized as a charismatic pioneer of the personal computer revolution and for his influential career in the computer and consumer electronics fields, transforming "one industry after another, from computers and smartphones to music and movies..." Jobs also co-founded and served as chief executive of Pixar Animation Studios; he became a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Company in 2006, when Disney acquired Pixar. Jobs was among the first to see the commercial potential of Xerox PARC's mouse-driven graphical user interface, which led to the creation of the Apple Lisa and, one year later, the Macintosh. He also played a role in introducing the Laser Writer, one of the first widely available laser printers, to the market.Jobs received a number of honors and public recognition for his influence in the technology and music industries. My name is Chan Hui Ting.I am from Malaysia.I am in the first semester of foundation in art in UCSI University at Kuala Lumpur Malaysia.
I have been schooling for more than ten years now.I am interested in Arithmetic in Standard One and even now,Mathematics fascinates me a lot.I often get angry when I unable to solve the problems that my teacher has given us homework.Nevertheless,Mathematics is my favourite subject in school and I usually score top marks for it.
However,I find myself weak in all the other subjects,especially in Science.I hardly pass in tests in my Science subject,I find myself sometimes at the bottom of the class.Compare with my brainy classmates,I'm like a tiny pond next to a might ocean.
So,I try to work hard on my studies.I study and doing my revision everyday.Even during weekend,I would went to the book shop or library like popular and mph to buy or borrow the books.After a few months,I can found that my result have improve a lot.
I hope I can stay smooth and get an excellent result on my University life. ;)
